Wormwood can be used either fresh or dried. All the aerial portions (stem, leaves and flowers) of the plant have medicinal uses. Wormwood tea is known for being the parasite killing, cancer fighting super herb.
What’s so good about wormwood tea?
Contains antimicrobial and antifungal abilities
Helps digestion
Parasite cleanse - eliminates intestinal worms, including pinworms, roundworms and tapeworms
Can be used as an occasional energy tonic
Fights cancer cells for women with breast cancer
Treats malaria
Treats crone disease
Treats SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth)
How to brew wormwood tea:
Tea is best used in dried form, add a (half teaspoon to one teaspoon) to a tea pot
It’s important to use no more than one teaspoon of the tea leaves
Should be taken unsweetened for the best effect, but the bitterness might be curbed by adding dried peppermint
Boil distilled water and pour into the teapot
Steep in one cup of boiling water (up to 15 minutes recommended)
Drinking this tea should be done so for a maximum of 1-week and take a break, it is not meant for long-term use
Using longer than four weeks (or higher than recommended dosage) may lead to nausea, vomiting , restlessness, insomnia, vertigo, tremors and seizures
