Red clover (Trifolium pratenseis) is a perennial herb which belongs to the legume family and grows wild in meadows across Europe, Asia and North America.
What’s so good about red clover tea?
Relieves menopause related symptoms
Believed to have blood thinning abilities
Might stop the growth of and even destroy cancer cells (not applicable to breast cancer)
Treats coughing and clears congestion of the respiratory system
Skin protector
How to brew red clover tea:
add 1 to 2 tablespoons of dried red clover to a teapot
boil distilled water and pour into the teapot
simmer the tea for 20 to 30 minutes
IF YOU ARE PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING DO NOT DRINK THIS TEA!
Children under the age of 12 should not consume this tea!
