Having personally suffered sleep issues for over 3 decades, this is my journey worth sharing, for those who may be searching for solutions with their own insomnia. When I first suffered insomnia I was a young adult. Turning to melatonin for a solution, I used this product for over 2 decades leading to an obvious addiction of over-the-counter supplements. It presented a problem of having to increase the dosage on a regular basis until the highest dosage would not help anymore. At this point, I weened myself off the melatonin but my sleep suffered. Someone suggested THC gummies and alas, I began getting some good night's sleep. Again, over the years the dosage had to be increased slowly, until I found myself waking every 2 to 3 hours to take more. I decided to stop the gummies after researching some natural alternatives.
Today, I am pleased to have found these solutions that help with my sleep. I am now sleeping better than I have in over 3 decades. Of course, I still wake up sometimes during the night but am able to return to sleep quickly feeling rested in the morning.
Researching the benefits of earthing it was found one can purchase grounding mats/blankets etc. It seems these mats/blankets are quite the trend right now and can be very expensive. Searching videos on the internet of how to make my own was not only easy, but economical. I have personally found this one solution to be extremely beneficial. Do your research on earthing because the benefits are not just limited to better sleep!
Then investigating the best herbal teas for sleep, it was decided to try chamomile and linden tree flowers. Personally, I prefer loose leaf tea, but that is personal choice. These teas certainly help me fall to sleep quicker every night!
Since my insomnia has been present in my life for a very long time, I still found myself waking early in the morning (2am or 3am) struggling to get back sleep. More research suggested adding magnesium to the regiment. Different magnesium is available for different issues, so it took a while to decide what to try. Eventually I settled on purchasing magnesium chloride flakes to make my own spray (or you can purchase already made). Surprise, simply spraying this product on my stomach in the middle of the night puts me back to sleep until morning.
These are my solutions and they work for me. Do your research and experiment for what might work for you.
Wishing you a peaceful sleep!
